Latvijas Onkologu ķīmijterapeitu asociācija (Latvian Oncologists Chemotherapy Association) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing the field of oncology in Latvia. They provide a range of services and resources for both doctors and patients. For doctors, the association offers various resources to support their professional development.

This includes integrating activities with the ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) to train future leaders in Europe, participating in virtual sessions and mentorship programs, and informing the ESMO board about the challenges young oncologists face in their career. They also aim to enhance the knowledge of young oncologists and promote networking through a global platform where they can discuss and address difficulties encountered in their practice. Additionally, the association encourages active involvement in projects, dissemination of information about ESMO Young Oncologist Committee (YOC) activities at local and international conferences, and other related activities.

Membership in the committee is voluntary, and participants are expected to attend in-person meetings twice a year, as well as participate in remote video conferences and email communication. Committee members serve a term of two years with the possibility of extending for two more terms. To apply, candidates must be ESMO members, either oncology residents or certified specialists, fluent in English, younger than 40 years old, and possess excellent networking skills.
