ONOMA is a cooperative of craftspeople, designers and artists based in Fiskars, Finland. It brings together creative professionals whose work spans contemporary art, design and handcrafted objects, and helps visitors discover their practices through exhibitions, retail and community initiatives. ONOMA presents changing exhibitions across its spaces, including Galleria360 and CUBE, featuring works by cooperative members and invited artists.
Its exhibitions explore a range of subjects and artistic approaches, from printmaking and sculpture to design. The ONOMA Shop offers selected works and products by its makers, including sculptural pieces and other original creations. Visitors can also explore member-run shops and studios in Fiskars, where independent businesses offer further opportunities to encounter local craft and design.
ONOMA’s activities include Fiskars AiR, its artist residency programme, as well as information about applying for cooperative membership. Through its galleries, shop and artist-focused programmes, ONOMA supports creative work and makes the work of Fiskars-based makers accessible to local visitors and wider audiences
