Onpier aims to revolutionize the insurance industry by harnessing the power of the platform economy. In recent news, onpier hosted a unique industry gathering called the onpier-Hafenfest in Hamburg. Over 30 participants, including executives from various German insurance companies, came together to discuss the opportunities presented by platform economies and to explore the features and possibilities of the onpier platform.

The event was held in collaboration with onpier's partner, SDA SE. Onpier has also launched a new use case in partnership with LVM Insurance. Customers can now easily book vehicle registrations online through onpier, enabling a seamless experience when purchasing auto insurance or when changing vehicles.

Another recent partnership for onpier is with Württembergische Gemeinde-Versicherung (WGV). Their collaboration focuses on a use case related to the Treibhausgasminderungs-Prämie (THG bonus) for owners of purely electric vehicles. This makes it quick and simple for these vehicle owners to receive the greenhouse gas reduction bonus for their vehicles.
