Mir wëllen iech ons Heemecht weisen a.s.b.l. a été fondée en 2015 lors de l’arrivée soudaine d’un grand nombre de réfugiés au Luxembourg. Initialement une initiative menée par des bénévoles, un programme d’activités interculturelles a rapidement vu le jour pour soutenir l’intégration culturelle des réfugiés et créer des opportunités de rencontre avec les locaux. D’après notre expérience, les ateliers culturels et l’expression artistique se sont avérés être d’excellents véhicules pour faciliter la communication verbale et non verbale entre des personnes d’horizons différents. About Ons Heemecht

Mir wëllen iech ons Heemecht weisen is a non-profit organization based in Luxembourg, dedicated to fostering intercultural dialogue between Luxembourg residents and newcomers. Since its establishment in 2015, the association has been actively involved in organizing cultural workshops, events, and artistic activities to facilitate integration and interaction between locals, asylum seekers, and refugees.

Through a variety of activities such as cultural outings, concerts, dance circles, block parties, and theater workshops, Mir wëllen iech ons Heemecht weisen aims to create meaningful connections and promote social inclusion. The organization collaborates with artists, musicians, and cultural actors to provide opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to express themselves creatively and connect on a non-verbal level.
