About OnSIP
OnSIP is a hosted VoIP provider that offers a range of products and services to meet your communication needs. With OnSIP, you can have multiple phones registered at the same time, including softphones on your mobile devices and desk phones in your office. When it comes to the common question of whether calls go to voicemail when your phone is set to Do Not Disturb, the answer depends on the device you are using.
For smartphones, calls will go straight to voicemail when the Do Not Disturb mode is enabled. However, for VoIP phones and softphones, calls will be sent to a failover destination of your choice in your VoIP service's admin portal. This could be your voicemail box, an ACD queue, an auto attendant, or even your cell phone number.
OnSIP also offers a setting called Global Availability, which allows you to set all of your registered phones to Do Not Disturb or have calls forwarded to your failover locations. With OnSIP, you can customize your communication preferences and ensure that you never miss an important call
