in Ontario Chito-Ryu

The Chito-Ryu Association of Ontario (CRAO) promotes Chito-Ryu karate across Ontario and supports a community of dojos, students, instructors, and senior practitioners. Its website shares information about the association’s mission, objectives, technical committee, board of directors, and dojo network, including the Higashi School of Karate. CRAO provides training and development opportunities through monthly Yudansha clinics, evaluation and grading guidance, and scheduled advanced, provincial, spring, and fall assessments.

It also organizes events and maintains an event calendar, with activities ranging from training sessions and formal gatherings to tournaments. The association highlights Chito-Ryu’s place in sport karate and shares tournament results, athlete achievements, and coaching recognition. Additional resources include Yudansha information, kumite content, a photo archive, and coverage of the Higashi 60th anniversary celebration.

CRAO identifies itself as a member of the Canadian Chito-Ryu Karate-do Association and connects visitors with related organizations and events, including Karate Ontario. Through these resources, it supports karate practice, instruction, competition, and community participation throughout the province
