About Ontario Invasive Plant
The Ontario Invasive Plant Council (OIPC) is a dynamic and dedicated organization that was established in 2007. Comprised of individuals and representatives from various organizations, the council was founded to address the mounting concern posed by invasive plants in Ontario. At the core of their mission is the provision of leadership, expertise, and a platform for Ontarians to actively combat invasive plant issues.
The OIPC offers a range of products and services designed to empower individuals and organizations to take action. They conduct awareness campaigns, offer specialized training, and organize conferences and annual general meetings to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration. The council also facilitates early detection and rapid response efforts, in addition to providing valuable policy guidance.
