About Ontario Sheep
Ontario Sheep Farmers is a brand that has been advocating for Ontario's sheep farmers for over 30 years. Representing the sheep, lamb, and wool industries, this organization is dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests of its members. It all began with the establishment of the Ontario Sheep Association in the 1970s and the subsequent formation of the Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency (OSMA) in 1985.
With a mission to educate, innovate, and strategically advocate on behalf of its members, Ontario Sheep Farmers aims to enable Ontario sheep producers to be the leading supplier of premium lamb and sheep products. They offer a range of programs and resources to support sheep farmers, including courses on nutrition management, small ruminant production, and parasite management. Additionally, they provide financial and business programs, such as the Advanced Payments Program and the EweGROW Farm Finance program.
