About The ONWO ONOC Project
ONWO ONOC is a non-profit organization founded by passionate sailor Martin Kraus, dedicated to promoting environmental protection and sustainable sailing. With a rich background in aeronautics and a love for the sea, Martin leads the initiative aboard the OVNI 400, a meticulously designed yacht that embodies bluewater cruising excellence. This vessel, capable of accommodating up to six crew members, is equipped for diverse sailing conditions and features innovative autonomous power systems including solar panels, a wind generator, and a hydro-generator, all while eliminating diesel dependency.
ONWO ONOC not only focuses on facilitating unforgettable sailing expeditions but also emphasizes sustainability by avoiding plastics and employing aluminum in its ship construction. The organization encourages sailors to join their adventures, fostering a community centered around environmental stewardship. With initiatives dedicated to science and the oceanic ecosystem, ONWO ONOC is committed to creating a harmonious relationship between sailing and conservation, inspiring others to embrace responsible ocean exploration.
