On Your Mark Speech Therapy

On Your Mark! Speech Therapy provides personalized speech and language services for children from birth to age 12 in Manhattan Beach, California, and surrounding areas. Founded and led by Emily Farinacci, a certified speech-language pathologist with more than 10 years of experience, the practice brings therapy to children at home, daycare, school, or community locations. Its approach is evidence-based, play-centered, and tailored to each child’s strengths and interests, with parents involved throughout the process.

Services address speech sound difficulties, early language development for late talkers, social communication, and receptive and expressive language. Sessions use engaging activities and everyday routines to help children speak more clearly, build vocabulary, understand and follow directions, form sentences, tell stories, and connect with others. Social skills support focuses on offering different ways to navigate conversations without asking children to change who they are. The practice also provides a free phone consultation, a speech-language evaluation involving parent interviews, formal assessments, and observation, followed by a report and recommendations within two weeks.
