Oceans of Hope

Oceans of Hope Foundation is a nonprofit organization that makes ocean and water sports accessible to people with physical disabilities or limited mobility. Its mission centers on empowerment, shared experiences, and building an inclusive community where participants can pursue new challenges, celebrate achievements, and form lasting friendships. The foundation offers adaptive surfing, helping participants experience riding waves, and adaptive kayaking on coastal waters and lakes.

Programs are supported by certified adaptive sports instructors with specialized training, while volunteers help create welcoming and memorable experiences. Oceans of Hope also organizes regular events at coastal locations throughout the year, giving participants opportunities to take part in activities alongside a supportive community. Its events include kayaking adventures, such as a scheduled program at the Marine Discovery Center in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
