Welcome to the official website of Oomiwa Jinja, located in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture. Oomiwa Jinja, the primary shrine of Yamato Province, is one of the oldest shrines in Japan, embodying the primal worship of Mt. Miwa through three Torii gates without a main hall.
