Op den Heuvel

Zwemschool Op den Heuvel is a privately operated swimming school run by Hans de Vries, serving Hoogeloon, Someren and the surrounding area. The school has built a strong local reputation over the years, supported by an enthusiastic team and a personal, small-scale approach. Swimming lessons are taught in small groups, allowing instructors to give children more individual attention.

The school offers Zwem-ABC lessons, private lessons and an online registration option for families wishing to enrol their children. Zwembad Op den Heuvel holds a Zwem-ABC licence from the National Platform Swimming Pools NRZ. Beyond lessons, its programme includes aquajogging, fitness-oriented lap swimming and recreational swimming.

The facility also offers children’s parties and pool rental. For those interested in a different kind of aquatic activity, the school provides popular mermaid swimming, with further information available through its dedicated Facebook page. With its range of lessons and activities, Op den Heuvel serves both children learning essential swimming skills and visitors seeking recreational or fitness-based time in the water
