About Open & Shutter
Open & Shutter provides candid wedding and event photography in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The brand’s approach is built around authentic moments rather than posed or arranged scenes, helping clients stay present with the people and occasions that matter to them. Its photographers aim to capture the full story, from joyful laughter and quiet gestures to the unexpected, imperfect moments that make each celebration personal.
For weddings and events, Open & Shutter focuses on documenting what really happens, without staging scenes or altering the story with artificial effects. Images are polished for colour and light while remaining faithful to the day as it unfolded. The service is designed for people who may feel uncomfortable in front of a camera: the photographers take responsibility for creating flattering photographs so clients can focus on enjoying their event.
Open & Shutter features wedding galleries and provides information about its pricing and services. It serves Toronto and the surrounding GTA and is a proud member of the Professional Photographers of Canada.
