Voka Open Bedrijvendag is an initiative that gives the public a behind-the-scenes look at businesses and organisations in Belgium. Its annual event invites participating companies to open their doors, helping visitors discover how they work, meet the people behind their activities, and explore innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. The 2026 edition took place on Sunday, 4 October, when hundreds of businesses welcomed 485,000 visitors.
For those unable to attend in person, the initiative also offers digital company visits that can be explored any time, 24 hours a day, throughout the year. These online experiences include virtual tours and digital glimpses behind the scenes. Visitors can browse participating businesses across a wide range of sectors, including food production, logistics, technology, recycling, healthcare, water services, and transport.
The programme also highlights innovative companies, sustainable entrepreneurship, student-focused activities, and selected local hotspots. Through visits, videos, media coverage, and social content, Voka Open Bedrijvendag aims to make businesses more accessible and inspire curiosity about the work and stories behind them
