opendata. swiss is the central portal for open government data (OGD) from Swiss authorities, ensuring easy and secure access to data from federal, cantonal, and municipal levels. It aims to provide an overview of the current open data in Switzerland, facilitating exchange between data providers and users.
The platform promotes favorable conditions for public data use and supports the creation of a central data infrastructure in Switzerland. Managed by the Open Government Data office at the Federal Statistical Office, opendata. swiss operates under the "Strategy for Open Administrative Data in Switzerland 2019–2023" mandated by the Swiss Federal Council.
