Open Lab is a dynamic design studio based within Massey University's College of Creative Arts in Wellington. Our team consists of professional designers, recent graduates, and interns, who have direct access to mentoring and consulting academics from across the university. We offer a wide range of design and research services, including graphic design, typography, photography, illustration, motion graphics, industrial design, spatial design, branding, trend analysis, communication and product strategy, textile, and fashion design.

At Open Lab, we prioritize collaboration and believe it is the key to unlocking innovative solutions. By combining traditional and unconventional insights, we approach design projects from multiple perspectives. We also provide real-world experience to our students and graduates, allowing them to bridge the gap between academia and the industry.
