The integration supports trains, buses, trams and ferries, helping users follow local journeys and nationwide rail services from their smart home dashboards.

Features include live departures, delay and platform updates, fuzzy stop search, favorites, transport filters and walking-time settings. A trip planner suggests routes with transfers, connection-risk information and alternatives, while configurable delay alerts and spoken TTS announcements add further ways to stay informed. Users can also access calendar events, punctuality statistics and a camera-based station board.

For dashboard display, openpublictransport provides table, compact and trip card layouts, with dark and light themes for the station-style board. Setup is available through HACS, and stops can be changed through the integration’s reconfiguration options.
