Open Source Design is a brand that aims to bring more designers into the world of open source and free software. Their goal is to connect designers with free and open source projects, allowing them to contribute their skills and creativity to these movements. By doing so, Open Source Design helps to empower individuals and organizations to control technology, promoting freedom, transparency, and self-determination.

Open Source Design understands that no single organization can achieve this goal alone, which is why they work closely with associated organizations. These groups focus on various aspects of free software, from understanding its contributions to advocating for its adoption and development. By joining forces, they create a strong movement that exchanges ideas, coordinates efforts, and finds opportunities to work together on specific projects.

Whether you are a designer looking to contribute or a company wishing to support the cause, Open Source Design and their associated organizations provide a platform for collaboration and growth. Together, they strive to make a positive impact on technology and society as a whole
