Opera Neon is an agentic browser from Opera, designed to help people move from online research and scattered tasks to finished work. It can interpret webpages, retain context across tabs and sources, compare information, organize notes, and assist with outputs such as agendas, research, and documents. Users can direct different agents to handle different tasks, connect existing agents through MCP or CLI, and build workflows that use the web as part of their working environment. Subscription access activates its agentic features and leading large language models, with plans advertised at $19.90 per month.

Neon also includes Opera’s everyday browser features, including tab management, snapshots, sidebar services, ad blocking, and a built-in free VPN. Opera says the browser is designed with privacy in mind: sensitive information such as passwords, payment details, and cookies stays on the user’s device, and account data, chats, and browsing history are not used for model training or advertising. Built on Opera’s browser experience, Neon combines AI-assisted task execution with familiar browsing tools and protections.
