Operate First is a pioneering community dedicated to enhancing the Open Source ecosystem through innovative operational practices. By fostering collaboration between developers, operators, site reliability engineers, and data scientists, Operate First aims to eliminate the operations barrier that often stifles the deployment of Open Source software in production environments. Their community cloud serves as a dynamic platform where developers can implement their projects while receiving real-time feedback and insights from operations experts, ensuring continuous improvement and performance optimization.

The core philosophy of Operate First revolves around Open Operations, where both developers and operators work together transparently to integrate operational considerations directly into the development process. This collaborative approach leads to a robust, self-supported community cloud that is tailored to meet the specific needs of its users, with customizable service level expectations.

Through this initiative, Operate First not only promotes a sustainable Open Source model but also empowers its members to learn, teach, and innovate within a supportive and engaging environment. Join Operate First to explore cloud resources, contribute to projects, or enhance your development skills within a committed community.
