About Operation Smile UAE
Operation Smile is a charity that provides free and safe surgery to people with a cleft lip or cleft palate. With a vision for a future where health and dignity are improved through safe surgery, Operation Smile aims to provide patients with the highest quality of care, regardless of where they live. As the third most common birth defect worldwide, a cleft lip or palate can cause hunger, thirst, difficulty with speech, and social isolation for affected children.
In as little as 45 minutes, free safe surgery can give these children a chance to lead a normal life. With 35 years of expertise, Operation Smile has a global presence and continues to provide life-saving reconstructive surgeries, while also increasing overall surgical safety, quality, and capacity worldwide. You can support their efforts by donating or volunteering.
