Opie's Wish Foundation

Opie’s Wish Foundation is an animal welfare organization dedicated to helping horses who are unwanted or at risk. Its team rescues horses and provides them with quality care at its sanctuary for the rest of their lives. The foundation’s work focuses on rescue, rehabilitation, and compassionate lifelong support, giving horses a safe place to live when they might otherwise face neglect, abandonment, or slaughter.

In addition to caring for horses at its facility, Opie’s Wish Foundation provides funding to like-minded organizations. This support is intended to improve life for rescued animals and help reduce the number of unwanted animals entering shelters and the slaughter pipeline. The organization also invites the public to support its efforts and become “Horse Rescue Heroes,” encouraging people to help protect horses in jeopardy. Visitors can learn about the foundation’s work, contact the team, subscribe to email updates, and browse its online shop. Opie’s Wish Foundation describes itself as a small, dedicated team of animal lovers committed to making the world better for animals and people.
