Ojców National Park is a protected natural and cultural area in southern Poland, about 16 kilometres north of Kraków. The smallest national park in the country, it covers 2,145.62 hectares in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland and is known for its limestone formations, caves, rich plant life and bats. The park is home to around 1,000 species of vascular plants and 21 recorded bat species, and nearly 700 caves have been inventoried within its boundaries.
Visitors can explore marked walking routes and notable attractions, including Łokietek Cave, Dark Cave, Kraków Gate, the Kazimierz Castle ruins and the Natural History Exhibition. The park provides practical visitor information, ticketing, group visit reservations, parking guidance and updates on trail access and opening hours. It also offers educational activities, interpretive trails, events, and resources such as books, films, brochures and the Prądnik journal. Through conservation, research and education, Ojców National Park helps protect the Prądnik Valley’s natural heritage while enabling visitors to discover its landscapes and history.
