Opposion

Opposion is a start-up focused on making online research easier and helping expose fake news sooner. Its online news comparison tool lets users view articles from multiple sources about the same incident side by side, making differences in reported facts easier to spot. By bringing coverage together with a single click, Opposion aims to support more efficient research and give users clearer insight into how news stories are presented across sources.

The tool is intended for people working in journalism and education. Journalists and researchers can use it to save time when comparing coverage, while educators can help students engage with the news and develop a better understanding of differing accounts. Opposion also presents article comparison as a way to explore the makings of fake news and propaganda.

The company is seeking upcoming journalists to test and review its tool. Interested visitors can find further information on its website or contact Opposion in Utrecht. The site also invites visitors to subscribe by email for updates about special events.
