Optyka Dziecięca

Optyka Dziecięca is a family-run optical salon in Łódź, Poland, specializing in children’s eyewear and eye care. Founded in 1981 by master optician Zdzisława Szałkiewicz, it describes itself as Poland’s first optical salon focused on children. Today, the business is co-managed by the founder’s children, qualified opticians Przemysław and Anna, continuing its tradition of professional service and individual attention.

The salon serves children from infancy through adolescence, offering eye examinations, advice on selecting glasses and optical lenses, and custom-made eyewear. Its range includes durable, lightweight frames, prescription and sports glasses, and specialist options such as myopia-control, prism and multifocal glasses. Services also include lens fitting and production in an in-house workshop, repairs, eyewear insurance and assistance with National Health Fund reimbursement. The salon aims to make visits comfortable for young patients and shares practical guidance on eye hygiene and healthy habits. Most orders are completed within two to three business days. Optyka Dziecięca welcomes families at two Łódź locations: Lutomierska 26 and Łagiewnicka 45a.
