Opty Ustka

Centrum Sportów Wodnych Opty Ustka is a sailing and water sports club based in Ustka, Poland. Its work focuses on developing young people’s sailing skills through organised sports training and maritime education. The club invites children aged 7 to 10 to join its Optimist-class sailing section, with weekend sessions led by qualified coaches licensed by the Polish Yachting Association (PZŻ).

Opty Ustka also carries out public-interest activities, including a programme of year-round sailing instruction for children and young people from Ustka, delivered under an agreement with the city. The club has received public support for its activities and has partnered in “A Voyage for Knowledge,” an initiative promoting maritime and sailing education for pupils and teachers in the Słupsk area. Alongside training, it shares club announcements, documents, photographs and information about projects and events, including the Jan Kołpa Memorial. Through these activities, Opty Ustka provides a local setting for learning, participation and sporting development through sailing.
