Paul Schoenfeld, a celebrated composer and virtuoso pianist, has left an indelible mark on the world of music. Known for his engaging and diverse compositions, Schoenfeld's celebrated works include classics like "Café Music," "Camp Songs," and "Three Intermezzi." His music seamlessly blends influences from jazz, folk, klezmer, and classical traditions, reflecting his rich cultural heritage and extensive training.
Throughout his career, Schoenfeld offered a wide range of products and services, available through Opus Imprints. Musicians can access sheet music for his compositions, as well as recordings, perusal scores, and licensing requests. His catalog encompasses a variety of genres—solo piano, chamber music, orchestral works, and opera—catering to both performers and audiences alike. Notable commissions include “Camp Songs,” nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, and the opera “The Merchant and the Pauper.” After a distinguished academic tenure, Schoenfeld retired as Professor of Composition at the University of Michigan in 2021.
