About Orangutan COP
Centre for Orangutan Protection (COP) is a unique organization in Indonesia, founded by Indonesian youths in 2007, dedicated to the conservation of orangutans. COP is currently seeking highly adaptable veterinarians and paravets (veterinary paramedics) to join their team. The ideal candidates must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a strong sense of honesty, discipline, and responsibility.
In addition to providing medical care, COP veterinarians and paravets play a crucial role in running the rehabilitation center and ensuring the health of orangutans at Bornean Orangutan Rescue Alliance (BORA). They are involved in rescue missions, translocation of wildlife in conflict areas, and the release of orangutans back into their natural habitats.
