Oranjevereniging Koningin Juliana Haastrecht is a local association serving the community of Haastrecht through the organization of Koningsdag, or King’s Day, celebrations. Each year, its board works to present a varied programme of activities, bringing residents together to mark the occasion. The association shares programme information and updates through its website and Facebook page, and provides a retrospective of past celebrations.

The organization relies on support from members, sponsors and volunteers to make its events possible. Residents can join for an annual contribution of €12.50, helping the association organize King’s Day activities. Businesses and other supporters can also become sponsors. Volunteers are welcome to assist during preparations and on the day itself. Opportunities include construction and setup, bar shifts, preparing attractions, helping with children’s activities and contributing ideas for events.

People interested in membership or volunteering can contact the association by email at [email protected]. With community participation at its heart, the association works to create an engaging local celebration for Haastrecht.
