Oranje Vereniging Bergen

Oranjevereniging Bergen NH is a community organization founded in 1937 that has organized festivities for Koningsdag in Bergen for more than 80 years. Its activities bring residents and visitors together to celebrate the national holiday with family-friendly entertainment and local events. The program includes vrijmarkten (community flea markets) and children’s games in Stationsstraat, along with face painting, DJs, and performances. The association also promotes an Oldtimer Rit, with information and event details available through its website.

Visitors are invited to enjoy food and drinks and take part in the celebrations as Bergen turns orange. The organization shares updates through its program pages, photo books, Facebook, and Instagram, and provides contact information through its secretariat. People can join as members, with annual membership listed at a minimum of €15 for 2026. Oranjevereniging Bergen also welcomes new members and provides information about sponsorship, the board, and the rules for its flea market. Through these events and services, it supports a long-standing tradition of community celebration in Bergen.
