Dentists can create an account, submit a patient case, and arrange an at-home sleep test; Orasom coordinates diagnosis with its 50-state group of licensed sleep physicians. Patients receive information about dental and medical coverage, and a physician reviews test results with them.

For patients who test negative for obstructive sleep apnea, the practice can proceed with a custom night guard. For positive cases, Orasom provides a prescription and letter of medical necessity for a mandibular advancement device, and manages eligibility, prior authorization, and claims. Dentists can order appliances from their preferred dental lab, without medical-payer credentialing or lab restrictions. Payment is collected from the patient before treatment begins; Orasom manages claim appeals when needed.
