ORCA

ORCA – Allerød Sportsdiving Club is an active, member-led diving association based in Allerød, Denmark, with more than 150 members. The club brings together people who want to learn to dive, develop their skills and enjoy organised diving in a safe, welcoming community. Its training programme ranges from beginner instruction, including CMAS one-star courses, to advanced qualifications such as CMAS three-star, Nitrox, Trimix and gas-blending courses. The club also offers junior diving, junior coaching and refresher training.

Diving trips are a central part of club life. Members can propose outings, sign up and take part, with safety and shared responsibility at the heart of each trip. ORCA also arranges pool training during the winter and hosts social events throughout the year, including a summer party, Christmas celebrations and informal gatherings. Run by volunteers rather than paid leaders, the club encourages members to contribute to its activities and community. Its website provides information about courses, events, trip reports, membership, club organisation and member benefits.
