ORCA is a marine conservation charity founded in 2001, dedicated to the long-term study and protection of whales, dolphins, and porpoises, as well as their habitats in oceans worldwide. With a vision to keep oceans alive with these magnificent creatures, ORCA's mission is to actively involve everyone who cares about their conservation in safeguarding their future. ORCA works tirelessly to identify and protect critical habitats for over 90 species of cetaceans, which are not adequately protected by international conventions.

Overfishing, marine pollution, destruction of habitats, and climate change are impacting their populations. ORCA has built partnerships with ferry, cruise, and freight companies, utilizing their vessels as seagoing observation stations for a true citizen-science program.
