تنص المادة 28 من القانون رقم 479 الصادر بتاريخ 12 كانون الأول / ديسمبر 2002 على إنشاء نقابة إلزامية للممرضات والممرضين في لبنان. ومن بين صلاحيات مجلس النقابة، إنشاء النظام الداخلي وتعديلاته بعد موافقة وزارة الصحة العامة. للممرضات والممرضين في لبنان نقابة واحدة وهي نقابة الممرضات والممرضين في لبنان ومركزها بيروت. وهي تضم جميع الممرضات والممرضين في الجمهورية اللبنانية المجاز لهم معاطاة مهنة التمريض من وزارة الصحة العامة.

About Order of Nurses Lebanon
The Lebanese Nurses and Nurses Syndicate (LNNS) is a mandatory professional syndicate established by Law No. 479 in 2002. Based in Beirut, it represents all licensed nurses in Lebanon who have obtained their nursing qualification from the Ministry of Public Health.
The LNNS is empowered to create and amend its internal regulations with the approval of the Ministry of Public Health. It also offers a range of services to its members, including continuous education programs, scientific research publications, and useful information about the nursing profession. Additionally, the LNNS provides retirement funds, credit card services, and solidarity services for its members.
With a vision to excel in the fields of nursing practice, education, administration, and research, the LNNS is committed to protecting and developing the nursing profession in Lebanon to promote the health and well-being of individuals and the community
