Örebro Konståkningsklubb is a Swedish figure skating association founded in 1999 by skaters, coaches, and parents. Drawing on its members’ long experience in the sport, the club has grown to around 200 active skaters, including approximately 50 competitive skaters. Its guiding idea is figure skating for everyone: members of all ages and skill levels are welcomed, with an emphasis on each individual’s development, friendship, and a strong sense of community.
The club offers a progression of skating instruction, beginning with skating school, where beginners learn basic skills through games and playful exercises. Newer skaters can continue into introductory figure skating, then progress to further training and tests that prepare them for competition. Those who wish to compete can advance through different levels and classes according to their age and completed tests, with coaches and skaters discussing readiness for testing together.
Örebro Konståkningsklubb also organizes competitions, including events hosted at Trängens A-hall, and shares updates about training schedules and club activities.
