The brand's story begins with Siegfried, a German chef, who traveled across Europe in search of new taste sensations. It was in Liguria that he discovered a captivating cuisine and fell in love with Mirella, eventually starting a family together.

Their restaurant soon gained a reputation for serving soulful Ligurian dishes, making Maurizio, their son, grow up surrounded by the joy of good food. Although Maurizio did not become a chef, he developed a profound understanding of flavors. One fateful meeting with two brothers, Tony and George, led to the replication of the unique Ligurian tastes he cherished.

Tony, equipped with his culinary skills, and George, with his business acumen, joined hands with Maurizio to open the first Oregano restaurant in Dubai. Driven by their passion, Oregano now proudly operates 12 restaurants in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi, showcasing Ligurian inspired dishes. Guests can indulge in flavorful creations crafted with care and served with warmth.
