The Oregon Falconers Association (OFA) is a club of people across Oregon who practice falconry, hunting game with trained raptors. Established in 1977, the association works to preserve falconry in the state and shares information about its history, practice, and responsible stewardship. Its website introduces the sport, explains how to get started and prepare for an apprenticeship, and provides reading suggestions, guidance on making falconry equipment, and information about legal requirements and ethics.

OFA also offers resources on raptor medical care, including a list of Oregon raptor veterinarians, and directs people who find injured birds to rehabilitation centers. If someone finds a falconer’s lost bird, the association can help reconnect it with its handler. The site features stories about Oregon falconers, historical accounts, and links to further falconry information. It also explains falconry-based bird abatement, a service provided by private businesses to protect crops and property; OFA states that this work is not falconry and is not offered by the association.
