OREW Bobolice

OREW Bobolice is a rehabilitation, education and care centre established by the Wspólny Świat Association for people facing social exclusion or at risk of it. Opened in 2013, the centre builds on its team’s experience in special education and aims to provide children and young people with supportive conditions for learning, development and everyday life.

The centre serves children and young people aged 3 to 25 with intellectual disabilities, including those with multiple disabilities. Its educational and therapeutic programmes are tailored to each person’s needs and abilities. Services include revalidation and educational activities, early developmental support, rehabilitation, psychological therapy, speech and language activities, and recreational programmes. The centre also offers animal-assisted therapies, including hippotherapy with horses and dog-assisted therapy.

Alongside individual and specialist group sessions, OREW supports parents and legal guardians through consultations with a psychologist or group educator, psychoeducational activities, parenting-skills workshops and support groups. Its work combines education, care and rehabilitation, with the stated aim of helping each participant experience opportunities for learning, growth and greater engagement with the world around them.
