Organic Midwifery

Organic Midwifery is a boutique private midwifery service based in Melbourne, supporting families through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. The practice is led by midwives Helen, Mal, Ramona and Joy, and offers continuity of care: families get to know their midwives during pregnancy and have a familiar practitioner available for labour and birth. Antenatal appointments take place at home, where midwives work with families to develop informed, individualised care plans.

Services include antenatal and postnatal care, childbirth education, labour and birth support, breastfeeding and lactation assistance, and practical and emotional support for recovery and newborn care. The team also lists acuneedling and internal pelvic release among its services, and offers birth pools and TENS machines for hire. Midwives are on call from booking until six weeks after birth, with home visits and follow-up support during the postnatal period.
