About orgues-hdf.eu
Orgues en Hauts-de-France is a collaborative, encyclopedic resource documenting organs and the people, places, and music connected with them across the Hauts-de-France region of France. Its aim is to bring together available information, emphasizing the instruments’ history and surroundings, as well as the organists, builders, and musicians involved, rather than simply compiling musical compositions. The site is under development and draws together material from the former Orgues de Picardie and Lilorg websites.
Visitors can browse organ listings by town, building, or department, consult a regional map, and explore pages about organ builders, organists, conservatories, and music schools. The resource also points readers to online inventories, heritage information, associations, news, and a detailed bibliography. Built with MediaWiki, it is intended to support a collaborative and evolving body of knowledge; contributions are currently limited to registered users, and self-registration is not available.
The site is accessible for consultation, and its content is generally shared under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4. 0 license
