Orientation Team Besançon (OTB) is a club dedicated to introducing and promoting orienteering in Besançon. Founded in 2006, it welcomes people of all ages and ability levels, offering the opportunity to enjoy sport in the natural environment. The club’s activities centre on navigating with a map and compass, whether members are discovering orienteering for the first time or taking part for leisure.

OTB provides regular training for children and adults. Children in the orienteering school meet on Wednesdays, and people interested in recreational participation can join them. A further training session is held on Saturdays for children and adults, while Friday evening sessions focus on physical conditioning. The club also organises and publicises events, including sprint and middle-distance competitions, and shares information about championship activities and other local fixtures. People can try two sessions before deciding whether to take out a club licence. Based in Besançon, OTB invites newcomers to learn about the sport, meet the club, and take part in its activities.
