Original Paint by Numbers is an online brand offering paint-by-number kits for adults, beginners, and art enthusiasts who want to create artwork without prior painting experience. The kits provide a guided, step-by-step activity: customers follow numbered areas on a canvas and use the included brushes and painting materials to complete an image. The brand presents painting as a relaxing creative pastime and a way to make personal wall art, emphasizing that artistic training is not required.

Its catalog features a variety of subjects, including landscapes and seascapes, flowers, fantasy characters, entertainment themes, vehicles, and portraits of public figures. Examples include an Etretat seascape, a Bird of Paradise flower, an elf king and queen, and a 1955 Chevrolet. Products are described as do-it-yourself acrylic or oil painting kits on canvas, intended for home décor or gifts. Original Paint by Numbers focuses on making art approachable, giving customers an at-home project through which they can unwind, explore their creativity, and complete a distinctive painting.
