Origin is a shopping discovery service designed to help people find products across retailers, compare available options, and identify a suitable way to buy. Currently covering Canada, Origin brings participating stores together in one place, aiming to make product research simpler and more convenient. Shoppers can search for specific items or explore popular queries, with examples including affordable LEGO products and the LEGO Icons Imperial Star Destroyer.

The site also offers a retailers guide and a directory of supported retailers, helping users understand where Origin searches. Origin is in beta, and its coverage is still expanding: retailers are being added, and some store catalogs may be incomplete as the service grows. Visitors can sign up to receive updates and submit feedback about what is working, what could be improved, or what features they would like to see.

With its focus on cross-retailer product search and comparison, Origin aims to provide a single starting point for shopping across supported Canadian stores
