Origin Watch Co. is a brand that specializes in historical mechanical watches. Established in 2014, our aim is to build high-quality, fully mechanical timepieces inspired by the classic and vintage designs of the late 1800s and mid-20th century. We believe that everything old is new again, and our passion for horology comes from the precision and reliability of mechanical movements tested in the battlefields of two World Wars.

While we do not manufacture watch components in-house, we design, assemble, calibrate, and test our watches in our workshop in Memphis, TN. By bypassing the traditional wholesaler and distributor network, we are able to offer our timepieces for a fraction of the price of typical luxury watch brands. We use only the finest components, including 316L stainless steel cases, sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating, and movements from reputable companies such as ETA and Sea-Gull.

Our long-term goal is to support the boutique manufacturing of watches in the US and bring the manufacturing of our watch components to the country. We are constantly searching for and experimenting with US suppliers to produce cases, crystals, dials, and straps.

Origin Watch Co. is the brainchild of Dennis Shirokov, a self-taught watchmaker, who started the brand after his passion for mechanical watches led him to build his own timepieces. Our first edition release, the Vintage Field Watch, is just the beginning. We plan to expand our line to include historical trench, railroad, pilot, and marine-themed watches.
