Orisha Farms

Orisha Farms is a youth-driven agricultural organization based in Lagos, Nigeria, focused on strengthening local agriculture through sustainable practices and youth participation. Its current emphasis is aquaculture, where the farm uses approaches such as cage culture to make use of Nigeria’s natural water bodies, support local fish production, and contribute to food security and improved nutrition.

The organization offers fish grow-out services, raising fish from fingerlings to market size, as well as breeding, brood stock management, fry and fingerling production, and hatchery services. Its hatchery work includes egg incubation and hatching, larval rearing, and nursery operations. Orisha Farms also provides custom feed formulation and manufacturing, feed pelletizing and extrusion, and feed sales and distribution.

Beyond production, Orisha Farms aims to empower young people through employment, training, and participation in agriculture. Its stated priorities include eco-friendly farming, water conservation, reduced waste, climate-smart methods, and regenerative practices. By combining agricultural services with a sustainability-focused mission, the organization seeks to help advance Nigeria’s agriculture sector and support communities.
