About Orkney Islands Council
The Orkney Islands Council is dedicated to providing support and assistance to the Armed Forces community in Orkney. Through the signing of the Orkney Armed Forces Community Covenant in 2012, the Council made a commitment to ensuring the well-being of Armed Forces personnel and their families. The Council's dedication to this cause continues, as they aim to achieve the 'gold' award and are actively seeking feedback on how they can further identify and support service personnel, veterans, and their families.
