ORONDA

ORONDA is a family-run goldsmith in Berlin, led by Stefanie Holtz and Jürgen Krause, with more than 30 years of experience in traditional goldsmithing. The workshop describes itself as Berlin’s first Fairtrade-certified and Fairmined-licensed goldsmith. It creates individually designed, handmade wedding rings, engagement rings and other jewellery, using materials such as Fairtrade, Fairmined, recycled and regional river gold, as well as responsibly sourced silver.

Customers can choose from rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets and necklaces, including one-of-a-kind pieces made to their wishes. The collection features different gold alloys and finishes, alongside sustainable diamonds and gemstones. Options include lab-grown diamonds produced in Germany, Australian diamonds with provenance documentation, and fair-trade coloured gemstones. ORONDA also offers bespoke jewellery design, remodelling, repairs, cleaning, and jewellery recycling or upcycling.

The workshop emphasizes responsible sourcing and says the relevant Fairtrade or Fairmined claims apply to the fine gold or silver content of an alloy. Its physical traceability and certifications can be disclosed on request.
