Orszak Dziejów

Fundacja Orszak Dziejów is a Polish foundation dedicated to bringing the nation’s history to life and inspiring pride in the achievements of past generations. Established in 2023, it organizes the Orszak Dziejów, an educational public procession in which volunteers portray notable figures from Polish history in period dress. The foundation supports participants with historical costumes, props and visual materials, while historians help select the figures and prepare their descriptions. Events also feature activities such as history-themed games and competitions for children and young people.

Through its processions, the foundation promotes historical education, patriotic values, volunteering and community participation. Its activities aim to connect generations, strengthen local ties and present historical figures as sources of inspiration. The foundation also works with Teatr Biedronka Parentes to create theatrical productions about prominent people and families from Poland’s past, including Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, Ignacy Łukasiewicz and the Ulma family. These performances have been presented in schools, cultural centres and public spaces.
