About Ortenauer Weinfest
Offenburg’s wine events celebrate the city’s connection with the surrounding vineyards and the Ortenau wine region. The city invites residents and visitors to take part in two annual gatherings: the traditional Offenburg Wine Hiking Day and the Ortenauer Wine Festival. The hiking day is held on the first Sunday in September, when Offenburg’s winegrowers welcome guests to routes through the vineyards on the hills around the city.
In 2026, it is scheduled for Sunday, September 6. The Ortenauer Wine Festival is described as one of Baden’s largest and most beautiful wine festivals. Its 67th edition is planned in Offenburg from Friday, September 25, to Monday, September 28, 2026.
